Default Q: About Green Dye

Ok i tried following the dye chart on how to make the bright green dye but i just can't seem to follow it. (yes, im an idiot) But i need some one to tell me flat out what is the actual Mixing Pattern for Bright Green Dye. For instance the Necro Armor if not the Ritualist. Sorry fr this dumb post i just need help. Thanx

I'd say green+blue+green for a nice viberant green
and green+silver+green for a light green, but don't quote me on that it's really more up to each person to experiment and find the colour they like. So long as it doesn't involve black in anyway it's shouldn't cost you that much either.

Keep in mind that dyes look different on various armour. You might not be able to get a bright green on whatever you're dying.

Yeah the whole dye thing is too tricky to make sense of.

I use this combo (which is kind of a jade looking green), but it looks pretty sweet

Did you try looking for the chart on the specific type or armor you are trying to dye?

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3047282

Armors dye differently, since they have different base armor colors. Necro scars I think is one of the trickiest.

Also, if you are using more than one dye, make sure you are mixing them in your inventory before you apply the final mix. (I'm not saying you didn't know this, just trying to cover all bases)

i used silver + silver+green+green beforem it yielded a nice result actually worth a try

Anet should introduce a Dye Workshop or something so you can experiemnt with dye combos on a character without wasting money, but just like a seperate section from the game so you can't incorporate free combos in game, i mean it isnt like Anet profit from us wasting some gold experimenting dye combos...

When you start with a good base color like (brown) which is Purple mixed with Yellow the next color you add has a neat effect. Green would give a aqua look. Brown with green and green a darker aqua. Brown with Green and silver a metallic aqua. Brown with yellow added then green gives a bright green. It is all experamentation.

Add some blacks to the red, then apply.

This isnt a universal truth, dye remover simply takes a dye colour depending on your class. For Warriors it's yellow, but for other classes it different - red for necros for example.
